Enterprises Choose PingFederate

« OpenID & Cardscape -- Demo at RSA Conference | Main | PingFederate now Citrix Ready! »
We're beginning a series of announcements this quarter which highlight the selection of PingFederate by enterprises looking to enable federated SSO via SAML or WS-Federation with partners. The most recent announcement was this past week as Rapattoni announced their selection of PingFederate to enable SSO within the real estate industry.

We're quickly approaching 100 Fortune 1000 enterprise customers, many of which we will never do a formal announcement for, but who include the likes of E*Trade, Cisco, Caterpiller, the State of New York and New York Life to name just a few.

I recently completed a week on the East coast visiting several Ping Identity customers. I was surprised to hear how many of our customers had actually been offered federation software for free from their existing security vendor, or one of the large security stack vendors, but went ahead and purchased PingFederate from Ping Identity anyways.

I guess enterprises have become wise to the fact that 'free often isn't free' when it comes to complex and difficult to integrate software.
